Choose a platform

  • For HIPAA Compliance: Choose Zoom

    • Zoom is free for the first 40 minutes. If your sessions are longer, you can upgrade to unlimited plan for $14.99/month

    • Skype and Google Hangouts are Free as well.

    • I personally prefer and recommend using Zoom.

Setup Online Systems

  • If you do not have an email address for your private practice, setup a gmail account.

  • Create an account with the platform you decide to use (e.g. Zoom, Skype)

  • Sign-up for a scheduling service. I prefer Calendly (free option) as it integrates with Zoom to make setting up your sessions seamless

  • Create a PayPal Pro account so you can get paid with ease.

Automate your billing

  • Create an invoice for clients to make payments via PayPal Pro

  • Compose an email that will be sent to clients that welcome them to your teletherapy, a link to schedule services via Calendly or phone if you prefer, and a link to make a payment.

Provide care

  • Once all the technical part is up and running, you can provide your teletherapy with ease.
